Of all the questions to ask about our upcoming 5 night Holiday Cruise to the Bahamas aboard the Disney Dream, I can't believe I'm asking this: Is it true that irons are not available in the staterooms??

    Ahoy Kristen!
From one ironer to another, I completely relate with this important question!  I iron everything at my house and always make sure everything is ironed when we travel as well!  You are correct that irons are not allowed in staterooms due to safety concerns.  But, don't worry because you have two options to make sure your family is looking crisp on your holiday sailing!  There are seven self-service laundry rooms onboard the Disney Dream with irons located in each one.  There is no charge to use the irons and you will also find ironing boards for your convenience!  The laundry rooms are located on Deck Two, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten.  If you don't feeling like ironing yourself, for a small fee you can send your clothes to the valet laundry service to be pressed.  Just let your stateroom host/hostess know that you have some items that you would like to be pressed once you are onboard.
I'm so glad you stopped by the Moms Panel, Kristen!  Every question is important when planning for a magical voyage onboard Disney Cruise Line!  I hope you will let me know if you think of anything else before you set sail for an extraordinary holiday at sea!
    Have a wonderful day!
