I have 2 questions. Are you allowed to bring snacks & drinks into the parks or do you have to "sneak" them in? If I am only going to stay late in the parks once, which do you prefer: Fantasmic at DS, Illuminations at EP or Fireworks at MK?

You are allowed to bring snacks into the parks. You don't have to sneak them in. When my kids were stroller age, they had very specific snack and beverage preferences. We always brought a few juice boxes and baggies of cereal with us into the parks in case they rejected the park offerings. Even now that my oldest is in middle school, I still carry a few granola bars in my bag, just in case hunger strikes while we're on line for a ride or something.

Be aware that you will have to go through a security checkpoint when you enter the park. You will need to open all purses, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. for examination by the guards. They are looking for potentially dangerous items, not food. You also can't bring large coolers into the parks; there isn't any place to store them. But if you can easily carry your bag of water and snacks on your person, then you're fine to bring it in.

I like all the evening shows, but I'd have to say that if you could see only one, I'd go with Wishes at the Magic Kingdom. This is really the classic Disney experience. I love listening to the ooohs and aaaahs of the crowd on Main Street. Be sure to look for Hidden Mickeys in the fireworks.

    Have a great trip!
