Hi there i have a question about the weather in florida. I am from ontario canada hour north of toronto and it is snowy and cold. I have been checking the weather and finding it to be cooler at night but warm in the day. how do we dress for the weather?

You don't say what time of year you're traveling, but I'm going to assume that you're going to WDW in the winter. You are correct that during the winter months, WDW is often quite mild during the day (mid-70s F) but much cooler in the evenings (low 50s F). However, that's just the average, what really happens in any given year could be widely different from this. For example, I have been to WDW in December and had it be so cold we needed to buy extra sweatshirts and gloves for the kids. I have also been there in December when temperatures were in the mid-80s and I was sweating.

As you can see, this can make for a bit of challenge with packing. Make sure you check a website like weather.com a few days before your trip to see what you will likely encounter during your vacation. But in general, when going to WDW in the winter I usually plan to mostly wear ankle-length or capri-style pants. I also pack a pair or two of shorts and a pair of jeans, in case there are temperature extremes in either direction. On top, I plan to wear lots of layers. In the morning, I'll start out with a short-sleeve T, under a long-sleeve T, under a fleece or sweater. As the day warms up, just peel off the layers.

If you feel most comfortable in long pants, then you'll probably be fine most of the time at WDW (again, be sure to check the forecast before you go), but I would be sure to bring a variety of tops that you and peel on and off.

If you're traveling to WDW in the summer, then bring shorts and lightweight tees. Evening the summer evenings are hot.

    Good luck!
