Another question- We will be visiting in July 2010 and are trying to plan on a budget. We have our place to stay. What fo you suggest for eating? Should we bring sandwiches in? I have 3 kids (8,4,2) I am at a loss! Any help would do! Thanks!!!

    Angela,

If you don't have your tickets already, I might suggest that you forego the park hopper option.  It is very nice to have, but skipping it is also a great way to save money!

You can certainly bring sandwiches in the park with you.  If you don't want to carry a cooler with you, there are lockers available for rent at the park entrance.  The Animal Kingdom is an especially nice park to picnic in, with lots of great, secluded spots to eat and enjoy the scenery.

Portion sizes are usually pretty generous at Disney.  Many quick service (ie-fast food) places offer bacon double cheeseburgers, for example, which could very easily be shared with a child, or with the purchase of an extra bun (I believe this is less than a dollar - just ask when you order) could be separated into 2 sandwiches for the kids.

Another great resource is Allears.net.  This is not an official Disney site so I cannot guarantee the accuracy of their pricing; however, I've always found them to be spot on.  They list detailed menus and prices for every eatery on all of Disney property!

Also, if you will have a car, you can save money by eating off-property whenever possible.  I like to use websites like My Points and Swagbucks to earn free gift cards for use on vacation, too!

Hope that helps you plan a little, and please feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like!
