Hi again, Stacey!
I know you're a bit hesitant about the tendering when your ship arrives at Grand Cayman Island. As I mentioned to you before, Disney does their best to make it as seamless and easy as possible, so please don't skip exploring Grand Cayman just because of the
tendering. I think you'll be surprised at how easy it is.
Since you already have some sea days on your ship, I would hate for you to miss out on enjoying the culture and sights of George Town in Grand Cayman. The one thing to keep in mind for tendering ports is time. There will be a bit of extra time required to disembark the ship and head to port and you'll want to be sure you arrive back at the dock with plenty of time before the last tender boat departs to head back to the ship because there can be a bit of a wait during certain times of the afternoon to get on the next boat. Other than that, it's just like any other port where you'll know when you can disembark and when you need to be back onboard. All the rest of the day, enjoy one of Disney's Port Adventures or do some exploring on your own. I highly recommend any of the
Port Adventures in Grand Cayman that includes a visit to Stingray City! What a really unique place in the ocean this is. Stingrays everywhere, as gentle as can be, and you'll get to interact with them with your guide. It's an adventure we've done twice and one we'll always remember!
Have fun planning, and please do take advantage of your day in Grand Cayman, Stacey!
