Question about staying on deck 10 verandah room on the fantasy. Can you here the people above in cabanas? Is it better to stay on deck 9?

    Ahoy Natalie!

Welcome back aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like Christmas came early at your house!  I am so excited to hear you will be sailing away on a Very Merrytime cruise with Captain Mickey next year.  There is no better place to celebrate the season than on the high seas!

The first time my family and I sailed on the Disney Fantasy, our stateroom was on deck 10 and we really liked this location.  It is a nice perk to be so close to Cabanas and the pools!  We did hear some light noise from the deck above us in the morning, but often it was after we were already awake and ready for breakfast ourselves.  If you are traveling with little ones, are light sleepers or enjoy sleeping in and some morning noise may make you a salty sailor, I would recommend considering a room on deck 9 to ensure smooth sailing.

No matter where you lay your head at night, one thing I appreciate is all the storage available in the staterooms on the Disney Fantasy!  However, there are a few extra things I like to add to my packing list to keep things merry and bright.  I bring clothes pins to hang more swimsuits on the drying line in shower and a collapsible laundry basket.  The laundry basket keeps used clothing in one place throughout our vacation and a trip to the self-service laundry very easy!

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Natalie!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
