Hello Jenny,
Welcome back to
planDisney! Thank you for stopping in with your questions. I hope you are excited about your visit with your mother and your toddler. This visit is going to be full of magical memories. Experiencing the parks together is something you will treasure for years to come.
Lightning Lane Single Pass (LLSP) is available seven days ahead of time when you are a guest at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. You may be able to add your mother to your reservation by
calling for assistance by phone. There may be a fee for adding an adult to the reservation, but to have the same availability for LLSP, it may be worth it. Using your child’s LLSP for another person is not how it is intended to be used.
Rider Switch is a little different and allows guests with their entire group present at the entrance of the attraction to be split up. Just let the Cast Member know you are interested in the Rider Switch option your for your group. Party A will get into the queue and ride the attraction first. Party B waits outside the queue with the maximum of two people riding next. If Party B is only one guest one guest may re-ride the attraction with them while Party A waits with any guests who are not riding.
Some other tips for this multi-generational visit are to take advantage of are
PhotoPass. At the start of each day take a picture with one of the Cast Members and they can scan your
MagicBand+ or give you a PhotoPass card. These pictures will be treasured keepsakes, and will be saved to your
My Disney Experience App available for sharing. If you don’t purchase
Memory Maker the Cast Members will happily use your device to take the picture.
Hopefully this is the information is helpful for planning your stay. Stop back again if you have any other questions before your stay.
See ya real soon,
Jeremy A.
