Hi! I have a question about run disney. Which 10k races tend to go which routes? Would love to run through Magic Kingdom, epcot, or the epcot resort area.

    Hi Caroline!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. There is nothing quite like running through Walt Disney World Resort during a runcation and I'm happy to help you plan your upcoming race!

The courses are subject to change from year to year and there is no guarantee that a park ran through the previous year will be repeated for the following year, but the historical courses are always our best estimation! For both the Walt Disney World 10K and Disney Princess Enchanted 10K, runners in the past have traditionally ran through Epcot and the surrounding resorts around Disney's BoardWalk. Star Wars 10K has historically ran through a small area of Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The Disney Wine & Dine 10K has changed the most, with some years looking similar to the Walt Disney World 10K, just through Epcot, and others mirroring the Star Wars 10K going through Disney's Hollywood Studios as well. At this time, the only races that run through Magic Kingdom are half marathon distance and longer, including the Disney Princess Half Marathon, Walt Disney World Half Marathon and the Walt Disney World Marathon.

I hope this helps in planning your upcoming race! Check out this runDisney blog post about when registration opens so you can plan ahead for your upcoming trip. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
