Hi Moms! Have a question regarding the portrait session at the Beach Club. If I purchase the session and the portrait CD, can I take the CD and make copies of the photos at a local drugstore or can I only purchase the prints through Disney? Thanks :)

Once you have a PhotoPass CD, from either a portrait session or from the regular park photographers, the photos on the CD are yours to use however you want. You are welcome to print them out at home, take them to a local photo processor for prints, upload them to your blog, or any other personal use.

Printing your own photos from the CD is MUCH cheaper than buying the prints from Disney -- that's one of the main reasons to get the CD. After my Disney vacations, I usually buy the PhotoPass CD from my trip and upload the photos to my own kodakgallery.com account where I can purchase prints for about 15 cents each. Prices can change, but most prints purchased directly from Disney PhotoPass cost in excess of $10.00 each. Obviously, printing the photos yourself or having another vendor do it for you makes the most financial sense for you.
