Hi! My question is regarding the DDP (1 TS, 1 QS and 1 Snack per day). Everyday we have a fantastic Character meal booked and plan to use the QS for Lunches. Are there good options for Breakfast that would count as Snacks?

    Jill,

On our trips we have used snack credits, combined with some items we brought on the trip, to create great, nutritious, on-the-go breakfasts.

What we do is have a box of granola/breakfast bars that we bring with us. We have a bar to start the morning. Then we use our snack credits at either a counter service area in the parks or in our resort food court to get some fresh fruit. One of our favorites is the fresh fruit stand in the Africa section of the Animal Kingdom. The produce is always fresh, and there are several choices to meet the changing interests of our little girls!

If fresh fruit is not what you are looking for, you will find there are several bread options (muffins, bagels, etc.) that often also register as snack credit options.

While we love to get into the parks and grab something there, I think that you will find the selection and variety in your resort food court tend to be much broader.

Not sure what qualifies as a snack? Ask! You should see the tell-tale purple "DDP" box logo on the posted menu next to what counts as a snack, but if you are not sure ask a cast member. They will know, and may even steer you to items you might have not yet considered.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
