Wanda from KS Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I had a question regarding the DAS and max party size-states DAS Guest and up to 3 additional, for a total of 4 people. Did this change? We are a family of 5 with 3 kiddos. How do you recommend we split this up so we get to go on ride at similar time?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Wanda!

I'm so happy to welcome you to the most magical panel on Earth...planDisney! It sounds like you're in the wonderful whirlwind of planning a Walt Disney World vacation, a truly exhilarating time! There's so much to think about, from choosing the perfect resort and dining experiences to mapping out which attractions to enjoy each day. Just the anticipation of the trip itself can feel like a little bit of magic even before you set foot in the parks!

Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) is such a helpful resource to support Guests who, due to a developmental disability, may find it challenging to wait in traditional standby queues for extended periods of time. Before you connect with a Cast Member, make sure everyone in your party is linked through your Family and Friends List and that you're logged into your My Disney Experience account. You can then speak with a Cast Member via live video chat to check eligibility as early as 60 days before your park visit. Since your group includes two adults and three children, be sure to mention that to the Cast Member so they can make sure everyone in your group is properly linked and help you arrange the most suitable accommodations so your day in the parks is as smooth and magical as possible.

I'd love to point out that the Walt Disney World website is a fantastic resource for Guests with disabilities. It's packed with helpful information, including detailed theme park guides, sensory-friendly experiences, and much more to make planning your visit easier.

You can also access Services for Guests with Disabilities right from your My Disney Experience app. From the Home Screen, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner, then scroll down to "Accessibility & Health Services." From there, you can explore all the available services and choose the ones that best fit your family's needs.

Wanda, I hope this helps as you plan your trip! If any other questions pop up, know that you're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

    Magic Awaits,
