I have a question about public areas in the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is the "Sunset Overlook" open to just wander in and sit down early in the morning? i.e. if you wanted to use it as a meeting place for your group, would that be an option?

    Hi Debbie!

There are definitely plenty of open spaces at Animal Kingdom for you and your family to enjoy watching the animals roam the savannah. Tucked in the back left corner of the Jambo House. Even though it feels mysterious and private, it is open for guests! Definitely check it out when you visit. It is filled with art and artifacts. There is also a wall lined with photographs from Martin and Osa Johnson from the 1920s and 1930s. Not only can you enjoy this beautiful art work, but there is also an outdoor balcony overlooking the savanna. You can definitely meet up with your family here, it is a great place to relax and look at the animals!

    Magically,
    Stacy
