I have a question in parking. We have planned a vacation to wdw and we’re curious about the possibility of driving to a resort with monorail or just closer transportation each morning.

    Hi Andrew,

I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort again soon! With the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival in full swing and all sorts of magic and fun happening all around the Resort, you are going to enjoy a wonderful spring getaway!

Are you staying in the magic with Disney Resorts Collection? If so, you'll enjoy all kinds of convenient and complimentary transportation options to get you where you need to go - monorails, buses, water taxis, and the newest member of the transportation family, Disney Skyliner. You can just sit back, relax, and let Disney do the work! Depending on which Disney Resort hotel you're calling home during your visit, there will be at least one method of direct transportation to each theme park. If you have your own car and want to drive to the theme parks, you're certainly welcome to do so, and you'll receive complimentary theme park parking as a Guest of a Disney Resort hotel.

If you're staying offsite, you'll still be welcome to enjoy Disney's transportation options, but you'll need to start by parking your vehicle in a theme park parking lot. If you happen to have a dining reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be entitled to a few hours of complimentary parking while you enjoy your meal and explore the grounds, but you won't be able to leave your vehicle there all day.

I hope this helps as you're thinking through the details of your trip. Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Andrew, and come back and see us again if we can help with anything else. I hope you have a truly magical vacation next month!
