Hi question about Minnie Van service. How does it work? Can they accommodate motor scooters? I need traveling from art of animation too grand Floridian . Thanks Maryann

Hi there, Maryanne! Walt Disney World Resort is big; in fact, it's twice the size of Manhattan! The network of complimentary transportation, which includes buses, the monorail, boats, and the (soon to open) Skyliner, are all designed to get you where you're going as comfortably as possible. However, sometimes you just want to get to your destination in a jiffy; with the Minnie Van Service, you can do that and arrive in true Disney style!

The Minnie Vans, are driven by Disney Cast Members, and they will transport you to and from anywhere on Walt Disney World Resort property (and I love that they have Disney music playing on Satellite Radio when they pick you up). Typically, Guests can access this service through the Lyft app on their mobile device. Guests with ECV scooters or wheelchairs, however, will need to call (407) 828-3500 to request an accessible vehicle. Because there are a limited number of accessible Minnie Vans, you may incur a longer wait time, so I'd suggest calling at least 30-45 minutes prior to needing the vehicle, especially if it's towards the end of the evening; the hours of operation are 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM daily.

I hope you enjoy your magical journey to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Maryann! See ya' real soon!
