Ahoy, Carol, and welcome aboard planDisney! I may not be a yacht captain, but I am in a club made for you and me. You'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World Resort soon, so let's talk about one of my favorite topics: food!
Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of the best spots to meet pals, and the
Crew's Cup Lounge is the perfect choice for enjoying drinks and small bites together. I checked the
online menu for this restaurant and did not see the Prime Rib Sliders listed. I did notice the Truffle Fries are available, and while that's not exactly what you're looking for, I can personally attest that these are delectable and fun to share.
I chatted with a seaworthy Cast Member who said that while the sliders are currently not listed as a regular menu item, it never hurts to ask your server if they might be available off-menu or as a daily special. As I'm sure you know, menus at the resorts and theme parks are constantly changing due to ingredient availability and chef preferences. Like you, I did an online search and saw posts showing these cute little meat bombs last month; however, since they aren't listed, I can't promise they'll be there for your visit.
If a prime rib sandwich is on your must-do list, I suggest having lunch at
Steakhouse 71. This restaurant at
Disney's Contemporary Resort offers a
Prime Rib Sandwich with caramelized onions and provolone cheese. I recently walked to this resort from Magic Kingdom Park and found it a quick and pleasant stroll.
Reservations are recommended, so I'm sending pixie dust to help you find the sandwich you seek.
Carol, I hope you enjoy some delicious grub at the Disney mess halls on your upcoming visit. May fair winds and following seas make your trip magical. Stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
