This question makes me sound like a bit of a lush, but we're really wondering. My husband & I are in the habit of having a glass or 2 of wine each night after the kids go to bed. Is there any way to have wine in our connecting room

Nope, no way, no wine.  Sorry.

;)  Sorry, I just couldn't resist!  I did get a giggle out of your question though!  You don't sound like a lush at all!  I am a mother to three children 5 and under, believe me, I know all about the importance of wine!

My husband and I nearly always sit out on the balcony and enjoy a bottle of wine after the kids have gone to sleep.  It's a nice way to unwind and spend a relaxing evening together.

You can do this in a few different ways.  First, obviously if you have a car there or use a taxi service, you can go offsite to a liquor store and purchase whatever you'd like.  You can also purchase wine in the resort gift shops, though the selection is pretty limited.  Or you could order a bottle from room service.

If you are white wine drinkers, what you order or purchase in the gift shop will be chilled already.  Refrigerators are included in all moderate and deluxe rooms, or can be rented in value rooms ($10/night as of 8/08)

If you plan on indulging nightly and you are using the Disney Dining Plan, I suggest you consider the Wine and Dine add-on option, which would give you a bottle of wine for each night of your stay.  You can use these wine entitlements at table service restaurants or at shops to take back to your room - the choice is yours.

    Hope that helps!
