Hi! My question is: I made reservations for my husband's birthday at the Hollywood derby (fantasmic dinner package) & I was wondering what are we going to get served for dinner since they are charging $56.99 per adult & 16.99 per kid? Is it worth

Hi, Arthur!  With the Fantasmic! Dining Experience at the Hollywood Brown Dereby, you will be able to choose an appetizer, entree, a dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage.  You can select whatever you would like from the regular menu.

The biggest advantage to the package is that you will get a voucher for seating inside the theater for the Fantasmic! performance that evening.  Many guests line up as long as an hour prior to show time to get the perfect seat.  With the dining plan voucher, you can head to the theater 20 - 30 minutes before the show and still sit in the section that is reserved for those guests who have purchased the dining package.

This is definitely a time saver.  You could be enjoying other parts of the theme park up almost until show time, which is why most people opt for the dining package.  And when you look at the menu, you really could end up adding up a meal that equals the amount you are spending on the package.

You'll want to weigh your family's priorities.  If you'd rather have the extra 30 minutes you won't be waiting in line, then it's well worth doing the dining package.  If your family would prefer a simpler meal at a quick service location, and you don't mind waiting in the line to see the show, there may not be a benefit to you in purchasing the dining package.

Whatever you choose, I hope you enjoy Fantasmic! as much as I do!  It's a great way to cap off a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
