Another question. I am looking into character dining. More specifically, characting dining featuring the classic Disney characters (Mickey & friends) and the princesses. What locations/meals can you recommend and how early should I reserve them?

    Hi Caley,

Character dining is one of our favorite ways to dine. We love the chance to interact with the characters in a more controlled, personalized setting without long lines rushing into your picture.

One of the most popular character dining experiences is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort. You will be able to visit with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and either Chip (breakfast) or Donald (dinner).  You can also visit with Mickey, Goofy, Donald and Daisy at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom, Mickey, Chip -n- Dale and Pluto at Epcot's Garden Grill. If Princesses are what you are looking for, the two best places to start are Cinderella's Royal Table located inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom. Breakfast here includes a visit from Cinderella, Snow White, Belle and Jasmine. Epcot's Akershus Royal Banquet Hall features Belle, Mulan, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Alice, Mary Poppins, Jasmine and Pocahontas on a rotating basis.

All of the character meals are extremely popular and can be booked ninety days in advance by calling 407-939-3463. If you are a guest staying at a Disney World resort, you have the ability to book all your dining reservations (up to ten days of your stay) on your ninety day mark. This means you have the ability to book the more popular locations up to 100 days out, so be sure to call on your first day. Remember all characters are subject to change. Don't forget, if you miss one of your favorites, they are often out in the parks throughout the day to visit with the guests. Ask a Cast Member and they can call their character hotline to see where they are at.

    Have a great time!
