Hi Dae Won!
Welcome to planDisney!
First, let’s chat about your park hopper, and then what it will look like when you use Lightning Lanes with it!
With a valid
park hopper ticket, you’re more than welcome to hop back and forth between parks as many times as you want during the day (pending park capacity). If you’d like to hop between
Animal Kingdom and
Epcot, there is a bus route that connects the two. The bus usually starts running around 10 AM each day.
With that being said, whenever you hop, you’ll want to give yourself plenty of time to do so. Going back and forth at those times in your example would be tight! I tend to allow myself about 45 minutes to an hour to get from one park to the other using the transportation provided at Disney World.
Now, moving on to Lightning Lanes! When using
Lightning Lane Multi Pass with a park hopper, you will only be able to make your 3 Lightning Lane pre-selections in one park. After you scan into your very first Lightning Lane of the day using Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to book any available attraction in any park.
At that time, you can also modify your existing Lightning Lanes to any other available attraction in any park if you think you may be leaving that park before you get to use all of your Lightning Lanes.
It's good to note that you will only need to purchase one Lightning Lane Multi Pass per park day. But with a park hopper, you will be able to use that same pass at any park you visit that day. Remember, you can book another available Lightning Lane every single time you scan into one. I always feel like using the service with a park hopper really helps me make the most of it!
In addition to Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll also be able to book up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes. And since you’ll have a park hopper, those two attractions do not need to be in the same park.
Going back to your example of starting your day at Animal Kingdom and then hopping to Epcot, you could book a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
Flight of Passage in the morning and
Guardians of the Galaxy in the afternoon (pending availability).
I hope that makes sense! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. We’re always happy to help!
