The question I have isn't probably going to be "normal" but I was reading about a 5k run that they do in the mornings on Cataway Cay. Is this done on every cruise & every day on the island? Thanks!

    Hi Mike!

I think this is a great question!  There is a 5K run each day a Disney ship is in port at Castaway Cay.  On my last cruise, we visited the island twice, and there was a run each morning we were docked there.  Details are listed in the Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, which is left in your stateroom nightly.  The run is usually held around 9:00am, and you will receive a bib and finisher's certificate.  It is a fun but hot run, and the path is paved and flat. Being a runner myself, I have yet to run on Castaway Cay, but hope to participate on my next visit to this tropical paradise! Running along taking in the beauty of the island sounds amazing to me!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question!

    Have a magical day!
