Hi Ginger,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit and happy to help!
As you know,
Florida Resident Tickets require proof of residency.
Verification can be completed online in some cases or in person on the day of your visit. Your husband should be able to take advantage of any current resident offers since he has a Valid Florida driver’s license and complete the verification process online during the checkout process.
Aside from a Valid Florida driver’s license, a Valid Florida state-issued ID card, or a Valid Florida-based military ID there are some
additional ways you can confirm your residency in person. If you do not have documentation that meets the residency criteria you will not be able to use the Florida Resident ticket. I reached out to a Cast Member who confirmed that you would need to pay the difference in cost at the ticketing window before being allowed to enter the parks that day.
Hopefully, you'll be able to get the necessary documentation together before your visit next month. I'll be visiting with my husband and we are looking forward to all things
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival during our post-Labor Day visit. Be sure to
review the Disney Eats: Foodie Guide so you are prepared to eat and drink your way around World Showcase.
Ginger, please come back with any additional planning questions. We're always here to help!
Magic and memories,
Amy
