I have a question about hotel check-in. Our hotel, tickets, dining plan are all paid in full. Will the hotel require a credit card at check-in? We don't use credit cards & don't want to have funds tied up by the hotel for "incidentals" .

    Hi Carla,

I love when our Disney World vacation is paid for before we even arrive. Disney resorts do encourage guests to leave a credit card upon your check-in. This allows guests the ability to charge back to their room from almost any location on property. You are not required to leave a credit card however, just simply let the Cast Member know that you do not use credit cards and they will mark you as a cash only guest.

This means you will not be able to utilize the express check out option and will need to stop at the front desk on your last day to check out. This also means you will be unable to charge back to your room for any purchases. You may want to consider leaving the credit card on file and if you do make any charges to the room during your stay, simply stop at the front desk the evening before you leave and you will be able to pay for those purchases in cash and they will not be charged to your credit card. If you do decide to choose this option, be sure to pay for any balance prior to midnight on your last night as often the charges are run through on the credit card during the late night hours.

Hope you have a magical trip!
