Another question about our Fantasy cruise in May. Definitely seeing the ruins in Cozumel, but I can't decide what to do at Costa Maya and/or Grand Cayman. Children are 8, 14. Should we stay on board one day for them to do ship stuff when it's less crowded?

    Hi Elizabeth!
Thanks so much for writing back!  I think this is a great question because the Disney Fantasy is a destination in itself, and my family does like to stay onboard when it is docked to enjoy a less crowded ship.  There is always plenty to do, and it is a great opportunity to soar 12 decks above the sea on the AquaDuck!
I've cruised the Caribbean itineraries several times, and Grand Cayman is one of my favorite ports of call on both the western and eastern routes.  So, if you are debating between the two, I personally would go with Grand Cayman over Costa Maya.  The Dolphin Extreme Swim and Turtle Farm is great choice for your age children and will be an unforgettable hands-on experience.  The beaches and water are both stunning so the Seven Mile Beach Break or an adventure to explore marine life like the Catamaran, Reef and Kittiwake Snorkel Sail would be worth looking into as well.
I hope my suggestions are helpful, Elizabeth.  I appreciate the questions and look forward to hearing from you again if you need further assistance.
    Have a magical day!
