    My question is about the Epcot food and wine festival, my husband and I are headed to Disney in 10 days.......WOOOHOOO, anyways, My question is the food from Epcot food and wine "Authentic" food from around the world, or is it an Americanized ver

    Hi, Libby!  It's so wrong, but my mouth starts watering every time I think about the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.  The food is so good.

    I have visited several of the actual coutries represented in the World Showcase, and I can tell you from experience that the food I've enjoyed in those countries is very authentically represented during the Food and Wine Festival.  I also want to say that the only place where I've had better pierogi is at my Polish grandmother's kitchen table.  She was born and raised in Poland, and the sauerkraut pierogi at the Food and Wine Festival tastes like it could have come right from her kitchen.

    I can't speak to every country, but you will be able to read a full description of each dish when you arrive at the festival.  Each country has a menu prominently displayed that will tell you what they're preparing and what ingredients are included in the recipe.  You should get an idea from there if the food looks relatively authentic.
