Hiya Zachary!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your dress code question! Oh boy—your magical adventure is just a few short weeks away! I bet you are getting excited and can’t wait to stroll into Animal Kingdom and gaze up at the breathtaking Tree of Life or step onto Main Street, with the amazing scent of freshly popped popcorn filling the air.
Now, let’s explore your question—Wilderness Explorer-style! I love that you’re incorporating some DisneyBounding into your trip as a Wilderness Explorer. My family and I love dressing up when we visit; it always makes for the best photos and memories! When it comes to Disney’s dress code, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Costumes and costume masks are not permitted for Guests over the age of 14 (except during special events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!).
- Clothing with objectionable material, excessive rips, or revealing elements that may not be suitable for a family-friendly environment is not allowed.
In my experience with DisneyBounding, your sash and hat should be totally fine, since they aren’t considered a costume! However, if your look closely resembles a character, a kind Cast Member may kindly ask you to adjust your outfit.
Before you go, don’t forget to take a wild detour to EPCOT for the
Flower & Garden Festival! The gardens are beautiful, and the new Moana & Maui topiaries at the entrance are absolutely stunning! Plus, be sure to visit the
Butterfly Garden—it’s one of my family’s favorite spots. And, of course, the outdoor kitchens have the freshest and most flavorful bites around.
Zachary, I hope this helps as you get ready for your magical adventure! If you have any more questions, feel free to stop by again.
See you real soon,
Christina
