    I have a question about Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I know the event runs from 8:30 to 11:30. It says we can check in at 7pm. Do we have access to the entire park at that time, or do we have to wait until 8:30pm?

    Hi there, David! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by again and asking a great question! 

    I adore the Disney After Hours events! As an Annual Passholder and long-time Guest of Walt Disney World Resort, I am constantly looking for new and unique experiences for me and my family to experience. During a recent stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom. I was pleasantly surprised by this event and have not stopped recommending it since! Due to the limited number of tickets sold for the Disney After Hours events, many popular attractions and Character Experiences are available with little-to-no wait times. In addition, Guests are welcome to enjoy popcorn, ice cream, and select bottled beverages throughout their night of adventure! 

    As you have seen, Guests attending Disney After Hours events are welcome to check-in at their theme park beginning at 7pm. This does, in fact, mean that you will be admitted to the park an hour and a half prior to the actual start time of the event! This gives you a good amount of extra time to experience additional attractions and entertainment offerings before the event even begins! I like to use this time to experience any attractions that may not be open during the Disney After Hours event, personally.
