Hello, question about DDP table service...can I get a soup, salad or fruit plate (where available) instead of dessert? And, can I redeem 1 snack credit for a funnel cake? Thanks so much...this panel is very helpful !

Hi, Wendy! Thanks for stopping by with your question, and thanks so much for your kind words. I have always been a fan of the Disney Dining Plans for the convenience and flexibility they afford us at meal time. With recent changes to the plans, they are more flexible than ever before!

A few times, I have skipped the dessert offering when using our Disney Dining Plan because I was not in the mood for something sweet right then (or maybe I was just saving room for a Dole Whip later!). With recent changes to the plans being implemented, Guests may now substitute a cup of soup, a side salad, or a fruit plate for the dessert. I have also noticed many additions to the list of approved snack credits. Last weekend while at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I did see funnel cakes, even funnel cakes with fruit topping and ice cream added, with the signature Disney Dining Plan snack credit logo affixed to it. Wow! That makes for one amazingly delicious snack! Please remember that as always, this is subject to change at any time.

I hope you have a great vacation at Walt Disney World Resort. Please stop by again if you have any further questions as you continue to plan.
