Hi another question cant you tell I'm excited dont come until 2020!! Is it possible to upgrade to a suite by paying the difference? Currently booked for a little mermaid room at AoA but thinking we might be better with a bit more space.

Hi there, Joe! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

I'm so excited that you're getting so excited! You're just under a year away from your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a unique resort that takes Guests into the art of Disney and Pixar films as well as into the settings of certain films themselves! Guests will have the opportunity to experience larger than life sets from The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars.

As you've mentioned, there are both standard Guest rooms as well as Family Suites available at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You will be happy to hear that Guests may upgrade their room category and pay the difference between the two. You will just have to make sure that the room category you want to switch to is available for the duration of your stay! You can do this by either logging into your My Disney Experience account or by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line. Both avenues will present you with the option to "Modify Your Reservation" and let you know what different rooms are available during your travel dates.

I hope you and your family are able to plan a vacation that is practically perfect in every way!
