Hi, I have a question ... Do I have to be a California resident to enter Disney? What if I am not a resident but have lived in California for 4 years? What documents or proof do I have to prove

    Hi Edwin,

Welcome to planDisney! I hope you're having fun dreaming all your Disney dreams, and I'm sending pixie dust that they come true sometime soon!

Prior to June 15th, all Disneyland Resort visitors need to be residents of the state of California and visiting in groups of three households or smaller. If you don't have a valid state ID from California, but you do have a pay stub, bank statement, utility bill, or some other proof of your residency, please feel free to bring that in case you're asked to show it at the gate. If your visit is on June 15th or later, though, you won't need to worry about that as the residency restrictions will be removed by then. Whenever you decide to visit, don't forget that you need to not only have valid tickets, but also theme park reservations. I recommend reading through the helpful Returning to a Land of Magic page before your visit so you're well-informed about the changes happening during the phased reopening. While a few things are different these days, the magic is alive and well, and I'm so excited for you to get to experience it! Please wave hello to Mickey Mouse for me!

Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Edwin! I hope you have a truly magical visit!
