Samantha, welcome back! I am so glad you decided to visit us again with another great dining question. Last time you visited the Panel, you were looking at
another very special royal dining experience. I have a secret for you - my family actually prefers dining at Akershus Royal Dining Hall over Cinderella's Royal Table! My girls love the Princess "parade" that occurs frequently throughout the day.
The meals are served in a different way from most table-service restaurants, in that not only do Guests have meals delivered to their table, they also have a large Scandinavian buffet to peruse. In the morning, you will find a large selection of baked goods, yummy yogurt parfait ingredients, and a selection of cheeses and fish. The lunch and dinner buffet features more of the fish and cheese, as well as salads and cured meats.
I really do not think you can go wrong with any of the meal services. The princess experience is so wonderful throughout the day. You may want to take a look at your Epcot plan and see what will work best for you. Do you want to get all of your thrills in before having a meal? Then you may want to schedule a later breakfast, treating it as a brunch. This usually gives us time to hit our favorite attractions first thing in the morning and then have a meal before touring the World Showcase. The breakfast platter features a delicious potato casserole that I think must be sprinkled with pixie dust! Do you plan to taste your way around the World Showcase? Then you may want to have an early breakfast before park opening or a late dinner planned. I actually really like the idea of a later dinner that would end just before Illuminations: Reflections of Earth begins. Such a perfect ending to a Disney day!
I hope this gives you a couple of ideas when planning your day. I hope to see you here again soon!
