Welcome back, April! I'm glad you've been checking out the adult areas onboard the ship and Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay. I love Castaway Cay, and Serenity Bay is one of my favorite spots to relax on the island. It's so peaceful and the setting couldn't be any more beautiful! I hope you'll get to spend some time out there when you arrive at Disney's private island in the Bahamas!
I remember from your last question that your children are 12 and 14, so the best way to keep in touch with them will be via
Wave Phone. Your stateroom comes with two, however if you think you'd like an extra Wave Phone, you can get those for a small extra cost. It might be worth it so that both of your kids have one and you can share one with your husband. If you plan to be in the adult areas, keep your Wave Phone close by in case your kiddos need you. Many guests plan to meet up at a certain time, so you can check in with your kids in person. The kids will not be able to enter the adult areas, but can certainly meet you right outside the adult areas on the ship or just off the tram stop at Serenity Bay. The Wave Phones offer both voice calls (including voicemail) and text, so the kids might prefer to text you a message as well, that way even if you're swimming and can't get to the phone, the message will be waiting when you come back to your chair.
I hope those details help as you continue planning your exciting cruise, April! Stop back with any other questions before you set sail!
