What is the quckest way to get to the Magic Kingdom from Downtown Disney?

    Hi Rebecca,

The absolute quickest way to get from Downtown Disney to the Magic Kingdom is to grab a cab from the cab stop outside the Marketplace and head over to the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary Resort. Once at the Grand Floridian, you would take the monorail one stop to the Magic Kingdom. If you choose the Contemporary, you would be able to either walk to the Magic Kingdom (faster), or take the monorail around the resort area to the park.

Now if you prefer to save on the cab money, you can grab a Disney bus from Downtown Disney to either the Grand Floridian or the Contemporary and proceed to the Magic Kingdom the same way as described above. The bus option works great and there is no cost, but the buses run approximately every twenty minutes so there may be a small wait, plus you need to factor in, any additional stops that bus may make.

    Hope this helps!
