Welcome to planDisney, Ziyun!
You must be getting so excited for your upcoming voyage on the brand-new
Disney Adventure! She’s the first ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet to feature an open-air central hub filled with decorative greenery. This area, called Disney Imagination Garden, will also include an amphitheater-style stage where Disney stories will come to life.
Since the ship is still under construction, no one has stayed in these
staterooms yet, but based on deck plans and Disney’s announcements, here’s what we know. Rooms 11673, 11677, 11679, and 11681 are on
Deck 11 and appear to be part of the brand-new Garden View stateroom category. These rooms should have private verandahs overlooking the Imagination Garden, which means you’ll likely be able to enjoy the performances on Deck 5 right from your balcony, which sounds incredibly magical!
The difference between rooms near the Disney Imagination Garden and those near the Garden Bar/Castle Collection comes down to what you’ll see when you step outside on your verandah. Disney Imagination Garden rooms are positioned with direct sightlines to the central stage area, giving you the best view for shows and events. Rooms closer to the Garden Bar or Castle Collection are still in that same central hub, but their views are more likely to include the three-story “Castle at Sea” or the bar area, rather than the stage itself.
Once the Disney Adventure makes her maiden voyage later this year, we’ll have firsthand reports to share, but for now, it looks like your stateroom choices are in great spots!
Sea ya real soon,
Eean
