Hi Nicole,
I'm so excited to hear that your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is coming up soon! Not only are you going to have a BLAST, but with the
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you're going to be able to enjoy
so much delicious food! Mmm...
If you're dining at a
Table-Service restaurant that offers menu items for two or more Guests, generally speaking, that many people should be able to share their Dining Plan entitlements towards that item. For example, each Guest in your party will receive one appetizer (for lunch or dinner meals), one entrée, one dessert, and one beverage per meal. If you have a party of four and each Guest orders their own appetizer, entrée, and beverage, but you want to split two of the desserts for two, you should be able to do that. The same goes for an appetizer. If you have a party of four, you should be able to pool the appetizer portions of your entitlements to order an appetizer for four. However, if you only have a party of two, I wouldn't recommend that because it will require four entitlements to order. I would always suggest confirming your plan with your server because it could be up to the discretion of each individual restaurant, and I'd hate for you to be charged extra entitlements if they don't allow you to share in that way.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicole, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
