Hiya, Erik, and welcome to planDisney! You arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort in a flash, and it sounds like you're combining business with pleasure. Let's look at some steps to try to add your vacation plans to your My Disney Experience.
Many conferences offer theme park tickets and Disney Resort hotel reservations at a discount to attendees, so I hope you've been able to take advantage of some fabulous deals for your visit. To link those plans, look for confirmation numbers in your emails about them. You can also contact the event coordinator for assistance locating this information.
Once you have those confirmation numbers, you should be able to add a Disney Resort hotel reservation by opening your
mobile app and tapping the three lines in the lower right. Select "Hotel Reservations" in the My Visit section and scroll to the "View All" button. If you don't see the reservation, tap "Link to Account" and select "Type ID" at the top. Enter your Resort Reservation information to link your stay.
To add theme park tickets to your account, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the Welcome screen of your app. Tap the blue plus sign in the upper right corner to link tickets. Select "Type ID" and enter the ID Number for your admission.
Feel free to contact
Guest Services for help linking your reservations, but remember that your event coordinator might be another good resource. I'm waving my magic wand to make all your plans fall into place!
My husband invited me along for a conference a few months ago, and we stayed at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. My favorite part of that visit was how easy it was to hop on a
FriendShip Boat to EPCOT. You're visiting during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, so my tip is to sample some delectable dishes at the
Global Marketplaces around the World Showcase. My personal favorite is the
Pão de Queijo or Brazilian Cheese Bread. My tummy just rumbled thinking about that savory treat!
Erik, my mom always said balance is the spice of life, so I hope your visit is full of success and fun. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
