Hi Paola, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip sounds so exciting, and I’m glad you stopped by with this great question.
When you purchase standard
Walt Disney World theme park tickets online or through the
My Disney Experience app, you usually won’t need to show a credit card or ID when you arrive. Once your tickets are linked to your account, you can enter the parks using a
MagicBand, a physical ticket (Key to the World card), or the
Disney MagicMobile service on your phone (which saves your tickets to the wallet app on your phone). It’s as simple as a tap at the turnstiles and no extra stops are required.
The “bring the card” language mainly applies if your tickets require in-person pickup at Will Call. That usually happens if you’re buying something special, like Florida resident tickets, military tickets, or an Annual Pass, since those require ID verification. In those cases, the credit card and matching ID of the person who purchased the tickets would be needed.
If you need to stop at Will Call or you’d prefer to have a physical Key to the World ticket card, you can stop by any theme park ticket booth, Guest Relations location, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to pick one up. Since you’ll be using your husband’s card for the purchase, one way to do it is to place the order as a
Gift Order during checkout. With that option, you won’t need his credit card or ID at pickup. You’ll just show the confirmation email you received (and your own ID), and the Cast Members will provide your ticket card. You can then link that card to your My Disney Experience account if you’d like.
I hope this helps, Paola! Wishing you a "spook-tacular" visit!
See ya real soon,
Eean
