is purchasing the plus meal plan a good idea??? we are visiting at christmas time..there are 5 of us in our family. never used the meal plan before and was wondering if it's really worth the price??

    Tracy,

I have never had a visit where one of the three main plans (Quick Service/Standard/Deluxe) did not save me some money! It is more about getting a plan that matches your eating plans.

    Here is how I choose.

If I am going just with my wife, I know that most meals will be sit-down, table service meals. So I know already that I am going with either the Deluxe or the Standard. Then I price out my planned meals for the week by going on to AllEars.Net and looking at the menus. I do find that the restaurants that require two table service credits are not the most valuable ways to use those credits, so I make sure to use them at other meals.

If I am going with kids, I know that I am going to eat only a few table service meals, and more counter service. Then I go for the Quick Service or Standard. Again, I price it out, and usually find the Standard plan works better here.

Please send me your follow-up questions so I can help further! I know it is not 100% clear, and I love to help!

    Have a magical vacation!
