When purchasing a park hopper with lighting lane multi pass for two people and both tickets are on 1 phone can we each use separate magic bands to access the tickets from that 1 phone?

Hi Kevin and welcome to planDisney! With a Park Hopper ticket and Lighting Lane Multi Pass, you’re all set for an amazing day at the Disneyland Resort. I am happy to help you tidy up the last few details before you visit!

One of the great benefits of MagicBand+ is that it makes navigating the parks and accessing Lightning Lanes super easy, all without needing to rely on your phone. You can manage your park tickets, Lightning Lane access, and MagicBands using just the Disneyland App on one phone!

Here’s how to get everything set up! Log in to your My Disney Account via the Disneyland App. Once in the app, click on the menu icon (the three horizontal lines) in the bottom right corner and select “My Tickets and Passes.” On this screen, tap the plus icon in the top right corner to open the “Link Tickets and Passes” option. From here, you can either manually enter the barcode number for each ticket or use your camera to scan the barcode.

Now that your tickets are linked, you’re ready to connect your MagicBand+! Open the Disneyland App and tap the menu icon again. Scroll down to the Account section and select “MagicBand+.” Click the blue plus sign in the top corner to link your first band. You’ll be prompted to assign it to a ticket. Choose the ticket you want to link first, and voilà, your MagicBand+ is good to go! Repeat the process for the second MagicBand+ and ticket, and you’re ready to rock!

From that point forward, Kevin, you will be able to manage both your park tickets and Lighting Lane Multi Pass through one mobile device! As a father, I really appreciate this feature.it lets me handle Lightning Lane access for my daughters so they can explore the parks without needing their phones. Plus, it’s always a blast watching our MagicBands light up and vibrate during shows like Mickey's Mix Magic and World of Color or in attractions like Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

I hope this helps you feel a bit more prepared for your upcoming trip, Kevin. If you have more questions about the Disneyland Resort, don’t hesitate to stop by and ask me or the other planDisney panelists again!

    Enjoy your visit,

    David
