We are purchasing Military Promotional Tickets with the Park Hopper for our stay. We will be staying at a Disney Resort for the entirety of the say. Can we add the dining/meal plan? I'm not seeing the option online.

Hello Ami! Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so excited to see you have an upcoming visit planned at the Walt Disney World Resort.  We are a military family and those Military Promotional Tickets are one of our favorite ways to save a little while we are vacationing.  I'm pleased to tell you that yes, you can add a dining plan to your resort reservation, but you cannot do this online.  You'll have to call one of the incredibly friendly Cast Members at Resort Reservations and tell them you would like a Ticketless Package and that you want to add the Dining Plan to your package.  They will be more than happy to assist you.

Ami, if you want to add a little patriotic touch to your upcoming visit, I encourage you to meet at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. at 5 o'clock in the evening on the day you are in the Magic Kingdom for the Flag Retreat.  A wonderful ceremony that includes Retreat, the Pledge of Allegiance, our National Anthem and God Bless America is performed in that flagpole area and I must confess, my eyes are usually not dry when it's finished.  The flag that flew over the Magic Kingdom that day is folded and presented to a Guest veteran that is chosen earlier in the day.  It's beautiful and makes my heart swell with pride each and every time I see it.

Please come visit us again with any additional questions.  From my military family to yours, we thank you for your service.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
