If I am purchasing the Memory Maker, is it worth doing a family portrait with Disney Event Photography? Thanks again!

Hi, Christine! In my opinion, you are considering two completely different types of photos, and my family purchases both. Memory Maker allows you to capture wonderful memories inside the Theme Parks. You can get pictures in front of the Parks' icons, take Magic shots, collect ride attraction photos, and so much more.  These are, in general, very spontaneous. Disney Event Photography provides a more formal experience. That is not to say that the portrait session and pictures aren't fun, though! My family and I have done this twice and loved both the experience and the resulting photos. The photographer captures high-quality, artistic, posed portraits of your family (although our second photographer captured some great candid shots, too). If you choose the enhanced photo session, there is also a photographer's assistant, professional lighting, and image retouching. I wouldn't trade our family portrait pictures for anything! I highly recommend doing both! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
