Hi Michelle,
Thanks so much for your question! I'm a huge fan of
Memory Maker and think you'll love the service, too. I was able to try it for the first time when I visited Walt Disney World last December and I can't wait to use it again on my next trip.
If you're planning to purchase Memory Maker, I'd recommend doing so at least 3 days before you start your vacation. You'll get a nice discount on the price by making your purchase in advance, and you'll still be ready to start capturing your vacation photos when you start your trip. If you're not able to do this, there's no need to worry - you can still purchase Memory Maker in the park and start using it right away.
The clock starts ticking when you add your first photo to your Memory Maker account. From that date, you have 30 days to capture as many photos as you'd like and have them added. There's no limit to the number you can add, and there are literally hundreds of locations around Walt Disney World to do so, including Disney PhotoPass spots, select attractions and some character dining restaurants. Each individual photo will then be available on your account for 45 days from the date it was taken. Be sure to download your photos from your Memory Maker account before this 45-day window expires since those digital photo files aren't stored permanently.
I hope that helps, but please let us know if you have any other questions. Wishing you a magical vacation, Michelle, and don't forget to say "Cheese!"
Beth
