Hi. I will be purchasing the disney silver pass & I was a previous passholder but i let my renewal pass. When I do purchase my new annual pass can I use my same magic band. also If I purchase the pass can I start using the pass the same day of purch

    Hi Shalamar,
Thanks for your question! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If it has been less than a month since your pass lapsed, you can renew it at the renewal price at a theme park ticket window or at Guest Relations. If more than a month has passed, you will have to purchase a new annual pass.

Regardless of whether you do a pass renewal or a new annual pass, you may use your Magic Band; just bring it with you and the Cast Member assisting you will put your new pass onto your band, so it will already be linked to your My Disney Experience Account. You can start using that pass as soon as you finish your transaction, so I hope you're prepared! Please note that whether or not you use your pass on the day of purchase, annual pass renewal dates are based on purchase date, not the date of first use, so be aware of this when you go ahead with your transaction.

Have a great time enjoying the Walt Disney World Resort with your new pass!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
