Hi Ashley,
How fun that you're planning a magical vacation for next winter! An escape to sunny Florida in February sure sounds like a WONDERFUL idea! With so many exciting
new experiences coming before your visit like
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,
Wonderful World of Animation, the
Disney Skyliner,
Epcot Forever,
and one of my favorite special events going on, the
Epcot International Festival of the Arts, you're going to have a BLAST!
Disney Resort Hotel Packages have historically opened for reservations in mid-June of the summer prior to travel, so the great news is that you should be able to start turning those Disney dreams into reality soon! While each Guest on your reservation who is three years old or older will need to purchase the
Disney Dining Plan if that's the route you decide to go, I'm happy to share that any
Mouseketeers under the age of three stay, play, and eat for free. Your little one will be welcome to share your food at no additional cost, and if you dine somewhere with an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, he won't be charged. If, however, you ever decide to order him something off of a menu, you will be responsible for paying for that. My family has always found that the Disney Dining Plan offers us plenty of food, and there were very few times we needed to order our little ones something separate.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley, and please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your visit. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
