After purchasing a 5 day pass for January, then I assume I have to be very specific in my reservations. For example Jan 25th Magic Kingdom. There is no hours listed for the parks in January. There is availability now but maybe not when the hours are listed

    Ellen,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

You are correct that they have not yet published the actual operating hours for the theme parks as far out as next January. In fact, Disney does not typically publish their park hours until around 75 days, or 2-3 months, in advance. You should still go ahead and make theme park reservations right away, since you can change them later on if you want. It is best to have something locked in, just to be safe!

I can give you the park hours that were seen for January 26, 2022, also a Wednesday. It is not a guarantee that the times will be the same in 2023, but it is a pretty good guide to what you can expect.

    • Magic Kingdom: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
    • EPCOT: 10:00 am to 9:00 pm
    • Hollywood Studios: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
    • Animal Kingdom: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm

My advice is to book the trip the way you would envision visiting the parks. As your dates get closer, starting around the beginning of November, you should start checking the site for published hours. At that time, if you think you want to do so, you can change your park plans, if the parks have availability. You can check for that first, and then adjust your plans.

Personally, I love to start and end my trips at the Magic Kingdom! There is something about starting your adventures with a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A.!

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
