    I am purchasing my boyfriend a 1 day park hopper as a suprise. If he wants to upgrade to an annual pass how long does he have to do so? I’ve read where it has to be unused but I’ve also read it can be used but has to be within a certain time frame.

    If the fella in your life decides that he has had the BEST. DAY. EVER and must return for an entire year of magical memories, he can upgrade the gifted 1-Day Disney Theme Park ticket with Park Hopper option for a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass. This is what is important: He absolutely must visit with the friendly Cast Members at Guest Relations, any Disney Resort hotel, or by calling the phone number listed here for Annual Passholders on the day that he uses the ticket. Otherwise, he forfeits the option.
