Thanks for coming back to planDisney with another question! I'm excited to hear you are considering joining the
Annual Passholder family. I've loved being a Passholder for the past two years and hope to continue the magic when I am eligible for my next renewal.
I did not add the
Disney PhotoPass upgrade when I initially purchased my first Annual Pass. However, I was able to go back and add that later. You should be able to do the same with either of the upgrade options, but note that the price will not be prorated for partial-year usage, and any add-on options will end when your pass expires.
When you are ready to upgrade log in to your
MyDisney Account and click "My Plans" along the top of the page. Scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and click the link for "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." Locate your Annual Pass and note the links to "Renew" or "Upgrade." Select "Upgrade" and you should see a list of options to add to your pass. I walked through the process on the UK site just now but was directed back to a landing page. You may find the same issue when using the My Disney Experience Mobile App outside of the US.
If you experience any technical issues you may need to
contact a Cast Member by phone for assistance. You can also add these upgrades in person when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Cast Members at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs or the main entrance of any theme park should be able to get things sorted for you.
