    I’ve just purchased the WDW AP and I was wondering if anything comes in the mail? Do I have to go to the park to activate before getting anything? I won’t be in the parks until December/January 2019

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am thrilled you've returned to ask a question about your brand new Walt Disney World Annual Pass purchase.   I have been an Annual Passholder for about five years now and I love it so much.   Not only do I get 365 days of admission to The Most Magical Place on Earth, but I also receive some great discounts on food, merchandise and even Disney Resort hotel stays.   I hope you enjoy your Annual Pass as much as I do.

    You will not receive anything in the mail until you activate your Annual Pass at a Theme Park ticket window or Guest Relations location at Walt Disney World.  Once you activate you will be given a Annual Pass hard ticket which will also serve as your discount card.    When you activate your Annual Pass and use it for the first time an option will appear in My Disney Experience to order an Annual Passholder MagicBand.   This MagicBand will be mailed to your house. You will also receive a wonderful Annual Passholder newsletter in the mail which highlights special events and discounts available to you.    Isn't that great?
