    I have purchased a vacation package for WDW. When we go down to Disney to check-in to our on-property hotel, if I decide to upgrade to a non-Florida resident AP, can they apply the cost of my tickets to the 2018 AP fee?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am thrilled you stopped by to inquire about upgrading your ticket to a Walt Disney World Annual Pass during your trip.   I did this about 4 years ago and have been an Annual Passholder ever since.  I not only love the 365 days of Theme Park admission but also the many Annual Passholder benefits and discounts I get to partake in as well.  My favorites are the discounts on food, merchandise and Disney Resort hotel stays.   

    If you are planning on upgrading you must do it in person at either a ticket window or Guest Relations.  You will need to have a least one full day remaining on the ticket you wish to upgrade.  For example, if you have a 5 day ticket you must upgrade before you enter the park for the 5th day.   When you upgrade the price you paid for your current ticket will be applied toward the purchase of your Annual Pass.  You will only need to pay the difference in price.   Isn't that great?   The process is fast and simple and Cast Members will be glad to help you out once you arrive.
