Lightning Lane Passes. Allow me to help you make the most of your Disney Theme Park time.
I have some good news for you. There is no need for you to upgrade your tickets at this time. You'll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Passes associated with your theme park tickets as you get closer to your trip. As you may be aware, there are three types of passes to choose from.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to prebook up to three attractions in advance of your trip. On the day of your visit, you'll be able to choose another attraction once you've scanned into your first, and so forth and so on. If your tickets come with the
Park Hopper option, you can choose an attraction in another park as well.
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the ultimate Lightning Lane Pass because it allows you to experience every Lightning Lane attraction in the park for which you purchase it on that day. You won't need to schedule or reserve these attractions. Rather, you can just scan in at your convenience. Each attraction can be enjoyed once using Premier Pass. Both Multi Pass and Premier Pass also come with photo perks, which means you'll be able to download all of your attraction photos on the day for which you purchased the pass, whether you used the Lightning Lane to ride or not.
Lightning Lane Single Pass can be purchased for up to two individual attractions per day. This is a popular pass to purchase in addition to Multi Pass because the rides that are available for Single Pass aren't available for Multi Pass.
Regardless of which pass or passes you choose, the process for purchasing is the same. Guests of Disney Resort hotels are able to purchase beginning 7 days in advance of their stay. Everyone else is able to purchase beginning 3 days in advance of their park visit. On the day you're eligible to purchase, you'll be able to do so beginning at 7 AM Eastern Time in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
