I purchased a vacation through Disney and understand that every person on my reservation will receive a "universal card" for admissions, DP, etc. Does person will have to present their card seperately when "paying" for the dining plan

    Hi MK,

You're right each person who stays at a Walt Disney World hotel receives a Key to the World (KTTW)Card, this will give them access to their room, have their park tickets and dining plan credits on and if they've allowed it can be used to charge purchases to their room too.

The way the Dining Plan works on the KTTW Card is that all the meal credits for the whole party are on every card. Say you're a party of 4 staying for 4 nights each card will show 16 table service credits, 16 quick service credits and 16 snacks. This allows 1 person to pay for all 4 meals using just one card if you're all dining together, 4 credits would then be removed and each card would now show 12 table service credits. The great thing is that your party could also split up yet still have access to their dining credits. So to answer your question simply yes you can pay for the whole party with just 1 card!

I hope that makes sense, it's very easy to use the cards and when you check in you'll be given an information sheet to help.
